Dr. Dung Vu founded MEP Green Design & Build, PLLC in Houston, Texas in 2008. With 30 years of experience working in MEP design, he saw the need for a hands-on approach and increased dedication to excel in client solutions. His commitment to exceptional service and cost efficiency became the backbone of the organization.
As President, Mr. Vu sets the company’s strategic direction, searches for significant opportunity to expand the company’s business, determines organizational structure and policies, and oversees revenue and profitability growth.
Dr. Vu plans on expanding MEP Green Design & Build, PLLC to serve the needs of the luxury, high rise, and public project markets within the next year. His vision is to see his company grow in other countries, specifically Vietnam, Myanmar and Cambodia, which truly shows his commitment to his philosophy, “To make things happen, I need to move forward.”
In 2020, Dr. Vu graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors from Oklahoma State University, earning the esteemed doctoral degree of Executive PhD in Business. By achieving this accomplishment from the unique, reputable AACSB accredited PhD program, he not only seeks to strengthen his personal education and knowledge, but also hopes to heighten the value of his company.


Peter Nguyen began his career at MEPG as Project Coordinator/Mechanical Designer at the Houston office in 2016. Peter holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Saint Martin’s University. His hands on experience, education, work ethic, and motivated spirit make him the perfect person to provide a combination of world class customer service and technical knowledge to our clients. In 2019, he is being appointed the role of Director of Business Development, to oversee the management of all strategic and operational business development. Similar to the engineers, he is experienced in US Standards (UMC, NFPA, CMC) and International Building (IBC)”.


Raymond Mason has over 25 years of experience in electrical engineering, project management, business development, and consulting. He attended the University of Texas at Austin and received a BS in Electrical Engineering in 1993. He has gained a wide variety experience of technical leadership, consulting, and applications experience since earning his Master of Science degree in Engineering Management from University of Kansas in 2005. Raymond’s areas of expertise include electrical design, project management, and technical calculations for commercial, industrial, aviation, government, and healthcare facilities. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Texas, Kansas, and Nevada. Raymond serves MEP Green Design & Build, PLLC as an Independent Consultant, particularly in the MEP design for hospitality industry. Raymond provides overall quality control for electrical designs and reviews projects during multiple phases of design development.


John Billingsley has over 10 years of experience in Business Management, with the previous 5 years focusing in the ELV field. As our Electrical/ELV Designer, John oversees the design and installation of all of our ELV projects. He has participated directly in producing & maintaining all employee safety policies, performed job-site visits to ensure a high level of quality and conducted ELV final jobsite inspections. Through his work with MEP Green Design & Build, PLLC, John has been responsible for the launching of numerous successful businesses throughout the Greater Houston area. He graduated from Western California University in 2006 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.


Kevin Lane is the Business Development Executive for MEP Green Design & Build. His skills in business management, sales, outstanding customer service and communication are backed by 10 years of experience in multiple fields. These include, but are not limited to, field experience in
construction and surveying, direct sales, business ownership and team management. He is dedicated to growing MEP Green Design & Build exponentially, as well as serving all clients with fast and accurate results.


Johnny Lam has over 15 years of experience in the low voltage field. He is in charge of the design of industrial and intelligent process Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems for Industrial Facilities and Commercial Buildings. Mr. Lam has completed over 100 projects and is committed to closely monitoring the constant evolution of security and technology within the industry in order to provide our clients with the most optimal solutions. Through his work with MEP Green Design & Build, PLLC, Mr. Lam designs, validates and reviews design drawings for IT/ Communications Systems & Security construction phases of each project. He dictates the company’s path and policies, while implementing goals that MEP Green Design & Build, PLLC continues to grow and move into the future.


Patrick Le received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston. He started his career at MEPG as Electrical Designer at Houston office in 2016. During this time, he oversaw the preparation of electrical design drawings and coordination between architects, contractors, City examiners, suppliers and other trades to ensure quality MEP design. In 2019, with the knowledge in design development, he will be appointed to be Project Coordinator which will assist project manager and MEP teams with the coordination of schedules, meetings, and information. He will organize projects with the goal of on time and accurate completion. Similar to the engineers, he is experienced in US Standards (UMC, NFPA, CMC) and International Building (IBC), National Electrical Code (NEC).


Mr. Nangia is a registered Professional engineer with over 40 years experience in design, construction and plant maintenance and has earned his Professional Engineer License in more than 40 states in the U.S., including: States of Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Minnesota, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia Wisconsin, and Wyoming.


Charles Dobard has over 22 years of experience in designing, engineering and installing audiovisual systems. Charles applies his expertise by supervising and directing required audiovisual repairs, renovations, and preventative maintenance, as well as providing audiovisual solutions. He has experience designing all types of audiovisual projects using applicable Codes and Standards in the US and overseas. Charles has designed and installed ELV system for more than 50 projects. He also provides Audiovisual technical support to external and internal customers and resolves operational problems related to projects in order to keep unexpected costs to a minimum. He graduated from Central Texas University in 1990 with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications Electronic Technology. He received his Associate’s degree in Advanced Audiovisual Technology from the CBM Electronics College in 1988.
